Traci Allen
TRACI ALLEN, was an integral part in the creative launch of the Body Language Institute. Traci and her office plans, directs, and coordinates the operations, admissions and public relations of the Body Language Institute. Responsibilities include formulating policies, overseeing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources. She also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices, and directs program-marketing efforts.
Traci Allen is a veteran of the culinary and hospitality industry and principal of Traci Allen Inc., a national marketing, events, public relations and speaker management firm with a unique perspective and approach rooted from her extensive experience in restaurant and hotel operations, catering, event planning, marketing, sales and public relations accompanied with a fresh modern approach. She serves as President of the National Association of Catering Executives, Greater Washington, DC Chapter. In 2007, Traci became BLI President Janine Driver’s entertainment and booking manager and has since landed accounts with Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola, AOL, Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton, REMAX, Cosmopolitan magazine, and several other fortune 500companies.
Christopher Piat
CHRISTOPHER PIAT is the Director of Admissions at the Body Language Institute. Chris reports to Traci Allen and his responsibilities include implementing strategic direction and leadership for a results-oriented admissions program that is consistent with the goals and mission of the institute. Chris facilitates informational needs of students and potential students as well as facilitates for the courses in session. He is a forward looking, visionary leader with great entrepreneurial, strategic and analytic skills, with proven success in the areas of access and diversity. Jerusalem Merkebu
JERUSALEM MERKEBU is the Body Language Institute’s Senior Research Associate. Jerusalem is responsible for ensuring BLI curriculum is enriching and up-to-date. Jerusalem reports to Janine Driver.
