| Room/ Audio Visual Setup
1. Audio Visual Materials
- Wireless (TIE CLIP) microphone required.
- Janine will bring her own laptop with her presentation
graphics on it in PowerPoint. All you need to provide is
a screen (see screen placement below), a computer projectionsystem,
and the cable to connect the computer projection system
to Janine’s laptop.
- For front screen projection, place screen in the front
corner of room.
- For rear screen projection, the screen placement is at
your discretion.
- Mini-jack cable into the room sound system so that audio
and video clips can play off Janine's personal computer.
2. Staging
- If you're using a stage, please try to position the first
row of seats within three feet of the stage, if possible.
If not, try using a 'T' shaped stage "runway"
extending up to the first row of the audience. This allows
Janine to personally connect with the audience.
- If a podium is being used for introductions, set it back
a few feet from the front of the stage
so that Janine can walk in front of it.
3. Lighting
- Dim the screen area (unscrew ceiling bulbs right above
the screen), but leave full house lights on during the program.
Janine needs to see their faces and they need to see her
face and body language.
- Janine frequently moves around during her speech. If the
room has spotlights, aim them
toward the very front center of the stage.
4. Recording
