Animated. Funny. Quick-witted. Our charming Mike had the class eating from the palm of his hand; they were enthralled by his antics and obvious air of self-confidence. Then it happened. Someone posed a question that made Mike shift awkwardly in his chair and cross his right leg in the figure-four position. His left foot began tapping, as his hands lost their brazen animation and sheepishly found their way beneath his thighs. Unconsciously, his voice lowered to a mumble and his eyes gazed nervously downward. He even started biting his lip.

What happened?

Well, let's just say that the Jedi-like force of the hotseat began to take hold. The chair, in and of itself, is neither scary nor dangerous. However! When you are sitting in it, facing a class full of people, trying to hide some tidbit of truth from the Lyin' Tamer™, it morphs into an unusually powerful force. Volunteers from each of Janine's classes brave the hotseat in an attempt to resist its power, to prove they can beat it.
